Pee Wee - A, LAKESHORE LIGHTNING T2, 2019/2020, DEV (Lakeshore Lightning Girls Hockey)

The Lakeshore Lightning Peewee A #5994 Girls captured Gold at the Guelph Winter Classic this past weekend.  The team went 3-0 in round robin play to set up a semi final game Saturday afternoon.  The arena was filled with Lakeshore Lightning as the #5994 team faced the Lakeshore Lightning Peewee A #5997 team.  It was a welled played game with #5994 coming away with a 2-0 win.  In the final the Peewee A's faced the Ancaster Avalanche and captured gold with a 2-0 win.  Well done Girls!

Peewee A win Gold at The Big Cat Pre-Season Showcase tournament in St. Thomas.  The team went 2-1-1 in round robin play.  The Lightning played a well matched Woolwhich Wild team in the final.  After finding themselves down 2-0 after the first period the team worked hard to come back and came away with the Gold with a 3-2 win with 3.9 seconds left in the overtime period.  Good work all weekend Lightning and great start to the season!
