We’re excited to announce that registration for the 2025/2026 season opens May 1st! We’re expecting another record turnout, and spots are limited — registration is first-come, first-served.
Returning Players Get First Access
New this year: families with players from last season will get priority registration.
• May 1–15: Registration is open only to returning Lakeshore and Essex Thunder players
• After May 15: Registration opens to new players
Girls’ hockey continues to grow fast in Canada, and with limited ice time, we want to make sure our returning players have early access to our programs.
Why Register Early
Some divisions and locations will fill fast. At this time, we don’t know if we’ll receive additional ice, so once we reach capacity, we’ll start a waitlist — but there’s no guarantee we’ll be able to open more teams. Registering early is the best way to secure your spot.
What’s New This Year
• Our popular U9 program is expanding to Essex
• Payment deadline: July 31, 2025. Incomplete payments may result in your registration being moved to the waitlist
