Lakeshore U18AA Hit The Ice with the Lancers
As the part of the continued partnership between Lakeshore Lightning and the University of Windsor Women's Hockey Team, the U18AA team got to take part in a lively scrimmage with the Lancers this afternoon.
This was exceptional opportunity for our 18AA girls to experience the speed and skill of USports hockey first hand thanks to Coach Iwanicka and her team. A fast paced affair from the beginning, the slick execution and relentless pressure from the Lancers had our U18AA girls quickly elevating their play to new levels to remain competive.
Coach Iwanicka ran the bench for Team White during the second half, split-squad game, while her coaching staff continued to manage Team Black/Blue, which offered the U18AA players the opportunity to get some USports level coaching while being teamed up with this year's Lancers.
