Nominate Lakeshore Lightning and Essex Thunder Girls Hockey for a $10,000 "Big Assist"
Submitted By Diane Doyle on Mon 12 07, 20
Hello all,

Kruger Products is starting a program to assist leagues in keeping costs down. They will be choosing 15 different Canadian leagues to donate $10000 to their league.  In order to participate we need our Lightning and Thunder families to go online at

bigassist.ca

and highlight why the league would be a good choice for this money. Kruger is looking for us to include the following in our submissions.

The simple entry mechanism requires a brief written description (or video) of how an association demonstrates the following criteria:

Enables youth to play
Enhances the sport experience for members
Empowers youth to create an impact in the community
Encourages multicultural participation in the game

Each submission can only have 1000 spaces to it to touch upon these points. Key items might be if the players feel welcome,  if they have given back to the community, how they work as a team, and a league. Others might be how goalie equipment is supplied so anyone can try or how we welcome any player into the league at any age to enjoy hockey.   We need all the families to help by participating. Sponsorship like this helps keep our costs down. It allows us to be able to supply goalie equipment. And helps with days such as day of champs.

Thanks for the help.
