i. Safety, monitors, etc
3) Participants MUST wait in locker room until the ice resurfacing is complete.
4) Masks must be worn at all times when not on the ice. Parents, coaches, spectators, everyone not on the ice. This is a Municipal Bylaw. Dressing rooms included.
5) Organizations must submit attendance sheets for practices and games to the reception desk or emailed to [email protected] a minimum of 24 hours prior to ice time for check in purposes
6) Participants and parents must complete the daily check in online: https://forms.lakeshore.ca/Covid/Lakeshore-Recreation-Screening-Tool-and-Waiver
a. OMHA FORMS, AND ANY OTHER FORMS ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE ORGANIZATION.
7) Participants will be given access to the building 15 minutes prior to ice time event, and must check in at the reception desk.
a. *One parent/guardian spectator per participant when on ice participants, coaches and parent/guardians amounts to no more than 50 persons in the ice rink. Additional parents or guardians may be granted access in such cases that other participants did not have a spectator, or the on ice allotment is low, maintaining no more than 50 persons in the ice rink.
8) Parents will be given access to the building at the time of the event, and must check in at the reception desk, and must leave as soon as the event ends to allow the next group of parent’s access. (Cannot wait inside for their child unless assisting with skates.)
9) Parents/guardians/spectators must go directly to the ice rink. Hallways must be kept clear.
Reminder. The group size is a maximum of 50 per rink. For organizations wishing to have 25 skaters on the ice, it is the organizations responsibility to explain to parents that there is a 50 person limit and that not all parents may enter. (Example. 20 players on ice, 5 coaches on ice, 5 coaches off ice, leaves space for 20 parents.)
Rink B in scheduled to be available October 19th. We continue to monitor the National and Provincial announcements daily. Always remain prepared for adjustments to scheduled events based on restriction updates.
