Return to Hockey...Update.
Submitted By Steve St. Pierre on Sat 09 05, 20
Pending approval from OWHA,  Lakeshore Lightning will start the 2020/21 season the week of September 14th.  The season will start with an OWHA sanctioned 2 week development stage “Return to Hockey” modified programming.  Players will be placed in group sizes to meet all required safety protocols.  Once the development stage is complete, pending OWHA approval, we will be able to start the modified season.  We are planning to continue regular developmental practices along with 3v3 or 4v4 games that will be in accordance with OWHA rules and guidelines.  Once we are approved to game play, we will divide players into teams based on age and skill levels.  We will begin the development stage for the following age groups the week of September 14.
