With 10 years of coaching experience in the Lakeshore Travel program, Coach Alex currently leads the U11 travel team with passion and excellence. This summer, Coach Alex was honoured by Count Her In Sports with the prestigious Coach of the Year award—a well-deserved recognition of her commitment to developing young athletes and advancing girls' participation in hockey.

Girls Hockey is Booming in Lakeshore and Essex. Lakeshore Lightning is one of the fastest-growing girls’ hockey programs. Our registration has increased by 44 percent over the past three seasons and outpacing the national average of 30 percent.
